I am a 24 year old American student who is planning to pursue my postgraduate studies at UoB this fall. Currently I am trying to decide if I should live in student housing (east or west villages) or if I should utilize Facebook to live off campus with roommates. I wanted to know what your thoughts were and if you had any recommendations for which postgraduate accommodations are best. Number 18 on Somerset road, the building next to the new Saw Mill student accommodation, sort of opposite lidl car park. It has a green door and looks empty. Does anyone know what it is? Just an old house or something else?
Hi, I'm going to be coming to leeds in sept (from Mumbai India) if anyone was living at Oxley residency i would love to talk because I'm considering accommodations and even though Oxley is very cheap it's pretty far from City centre which is where the college is (MET FILM SCHOOL). On amberstudent I found Marquis Place which is around 100p/week (ensuite and bills included), and it's a 10 min walk to university. The only downside is that it has a 52 week contract.
